The Piano bar

My favourite drinks spot to recommend to friends lately is The Piano bar. This is the perfect place to come and relax after a long day. You can chill outside on the wraparound terrace and enjoy the buzz that's usually felt in the  De Waterkant area. Later in the evening move inside  where live performances will entertain you.

Now usually drinks spots do well with their beverages but disappoint in the food area. The Piano bar certainly breaks this pre-conceived idea as they serve delicious burgers(R70-75), tapas(R25-70) and very original platters. Their house platter(R150) for example contains risotto, taco's, cheese and chacuterie, meatballs and more. Definitely something to be enjoyed with the interesting cocktails they serve.

Cocktail wise they do have your standard mojitos, martini's, margaritas ect but the cocktails that I love from them is for example the black pearl which is made of jasmine tea infused vodka served with blackberry extract, lemon and pineapple juice. The piano rose, grey goose le fiz and vertigo are just some of the other choices you will have, so go and visit to see what they are. For the boys craft beers and wines are at their disposal.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The last time I went we were a massive group and they dealt with us easily in their stride.
 
The live acts you can  expect to perform at the bar is N8N, Andrei Damane, Chasing Summers and many more. Do check out their website for more information about these artist.
 
A cocktail special runs every Tuesday from 17:00 - 19:00 where all cocktails are half price.
