So to celebrate the end of an challenging test about numerous muscles, nerves and arteries I joined a group of friends at BEEFCAKES.
Beefcakes is situated at 40 Somerset road Green point.
First impression: The moment you step in you are hit with an awesome vibes. Everywhere you look you will see pink! Pink feather boas, pink flamingos and pink men :) Awesome music played throughout the night and it will take some strain to keep you in your seat.....
Food: They are known for their BEST BUNS IN TOWN :). A wide range of topping combinations are available and you can choose your "meat". I had the gourmet burger , ostrich style! The toppings were camembret, rocket and red cranberry jelly. A crowd favourite in our group was the Buffy the vampire slayer burger which had a slice of bacon, cheddar cheese, caramalised onion, avo and a creamy mushroom sauce! You cant go wrong with that. Don't be put off by the price of +- R85 a burger. You get your money's worth!

Drink: Their cocktail menu is just as cheeky as their food menu.

Service: Warm welcome at the door and impeccable service through the night. Our waiter was FULL OF CONFIDENCE but that kept us entertained throughout the night. If you wear some leopard print or have red hair he will maybe ask you your number.
Positive points: Somewhere throughout the night the waiters will lose their shirts... if you are into that! The crowd of the night enjoyed it. The have some props that will entertain you and spice up your photographs.
Dress: Smart-casual
Extra: Open Monday - Sunday from 11 am - 10 pm and the bar stays open later
Tuesday: Bitchy Bingo for R30 each @ 20:30
Wednesday & Thursday : Variety Drag Show for R40 each @ 20:30
Remember: Booking is essential 021 425 9010 or email: info@beefcakes.co.za
A night at beefcakes will depress your bank account with at least R120 but it will be worth it. A perfect place for a big group of girlfriends celebrating or who just wants a fun night out!
I have heard the waiters tend to get a little invasive sometimes. is this true? I am a very conservative person and this would make me uncomfortable. Please respond.

This was only experienced with one waiter and i would call him over-confident rather than invasive! no worries :)
